We have had a fun day mooching round builders' merchants and Leroy Merlin, checking out showers, taps and assorted other bathroom necessities.

Now that completion on the flat is rather closer than I had imagined, there is a certain sense of urgency in our preparations for the remodelling, which I hope will commence soon after Easter.
