Beautiful blooms from our lovely daughter ...

I was very touched when these arrived yesterday. Katy is back in Glasgow now and I can't wait to have a natter later.

My sister sent a simple garden sprig arrangement in a stoneware 'blacking bottle' that was our mum's... with a dedication for her and for us three. I was just thinking of mum at the time it arrived. She left us almost 3 years ago .. a wonderful woman who was gradually disappearing with macular disease and dementia. So my extras show her in better days, in her youth and the last birthday outing she was able to 'enjoy'.
