How to build a computer 101

My son the architectural student had to upgrade his video card to run a 3d CAD program. Up until a couple of days ago he had never opened up a pc. He has basically had to rebuild his machine now. I pray it all works out... My job has been to research installation of various components along the way, so its a learning experience for both of us!
