Miss you Mum.

We were going to go out today as the stay at home rule has been lifted to stay local, but we thought we would wait until tomorrow as there would be less traffic. My Dad gave me this photo of my Mum long after she had passed away, and it's dated the 28th December 1944. when she was 23 years old. The  RAF brooch  she is wearing, is now a treasured possession  of mine. We are having an early meal of steak, roast potatoes with fine green beans and dessert is New York cheesecake with salted caramel & honeycomb and the wine is a South Australian Merlot. I can't wait.
