Shepherd’s hut shop

A local tea room started with a horse box shop for people to pick up breads, cakes, milk and cheese. It grew to include fresh veg and then plants and a few gifts. It’s run with an honesty box ... not everyone was honest, sadly, but they persevered.

To make it a bit less tempting to dishonest people, they had a new shepherd’s hut built behind the tea shop, rather than out front in the car park where the horse box was.

Thankfully there are more honest people to make the efforts of the tea shop owners worthwhile.
