Daffodils
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
By William Wordsworth ( who was born in Cockermouth, just a few hundred yards away from our cottage. )
The ‘ extra ‘ shows the lemon pudding that I made as part of our Mother’s Day lunch.
