Role reversal

Mr Mouse made a sweet dish.

He normally does dinner and I do cakes and things.

I did help a bit. Well only in finding the tart pan and the baking beans as he didn't know if we had any. In fact we have two sets of ceramic baking beans. One set is my mums and the other is his mums and yes I know which set is which.

Mr Mouse opted to use my mums. I did ask if he knew what they were for. But he didn't know the purpose, he does now. I was surprised as his mum like mine was always baking. But apprently she never baked with him, they were never allowed in the kitchen when she was cooking. Complete difference to my mum. We are getting Little Mouse involved in cooking as much as possible.

I have never had cornflake tart and Mr Mouse searched the Internet and sorted out the ingredients. He brought pastry, making it would have been a step to far (I must admit I often cheat as well, but thanks to having raynauds I do have great hands for pastry). Oh I did get out my pastry mat for him, again I don't think he knew we have one. I have a massive one, it's awesome.
