Rob, Tim and Me

Today's the day ........................ for mothers

This is a picture of me and my boys, taken back in the mid-80s when Rob would have been coming up to two and Tim around five years old.

And on this Mothers' Day, it just reminds me of how special it is to be a mother and how privileged I have been, to have these two in my life - and to be part of theirs - all this time.  To have seen them grow into the hard-working, resilient, caring and considerate men that they have become - with children of their own that they love as much as I do them.  It's a joy and I am truly blessed.

But on a more flippant note - what on earth is going on here with my hair.  Seriously, what was I thinking?  I can only hope that, at that time, this was the height of fashion and I was out there - on trend ..................?!
