A happy mother’s day

We met up with R, S and Olive this morning to have a walk round the Bailgate in Lincoln. We haven’t been in the cathedral since the Armistice service in November ‘19. It was interesting to see the essential restoration and renovation work that is being done on the west front. 

We had take away coffee from the Bookshop Cafe and wandered back up to the cathedral to sit on the wall to drink it and catch up on the news. It was rather windy .....a gale!!! But most enjoyable.

R has had a difficult evening with toothache, poor girl is in such pain and the tablets are not getting on top of it.
