The magpies, after much argument and many dropped twigs, seem to have constructed some kind of roofed edifice - doubt if it'll be very waterproof, mind.

The allotment visit was full on - a bit more forestry, admired the primroses and daffs (and the cowslip which is on its way), fed the blighters and watered in the nematodes. Oh, and dug up a couple of volunteer horseradish plants - well, as far as I could. They were only small but I think their roots may extend to cabbagetree's place in NZ.

Definitely time for a hot bath.
