Early Morning Visitor
It was a beautiful day again after a few clouds cleared and it become really warm. When we were leaving to come back to Christchurch It was 29c. It was so much colder when we arrived back in Christchurch with around 22c.
Most of the time we don't get Kererū (Wood Pigeons) come close to the house but at this time of the year they seem to appear. He was enjoying the morning sunshine.
I managed to plant a few Swan Plants out for the Monarch Butterflies and hopefully the plants will survive the Winter and be ready for next seasons butterflies. I had grown them by seed in Christchurch but are really frost tenter when young plants so no good for planting them in my Christchurch garden at this time of year. The Swan plants are the only plants they will lay their eggs on.
Thank you all so much for all the stars, heats and wonderful comments on my Monarch Butterfly collage on Friday. I was amazed to see in on the front page of the popular page. Thank you all once again xxx
