Good to have Andy back for Mother’s Day - Mo’s cry of delight when he arrived put a smile on my face.

We watched the Scotland v Ireland match, by turns entertaining and frustrating. And ultimately disappointing.

While she was pleased to see the lad, Stella remained largely indifferent to the rugby.

Later on, Matt's bruschetta was superb, while George and I made pizzas that - although tasty - were somewhat lacking in presentational flair. Like the ship spoiled for a ha'porth of tar, they wouldn't come unstuck for lack of oiling the baking trays. D'oh. Still, it seemed to make Mo laugh, anyway.
