The best camera

Pipersmom taught me that the best camera is the one you have with you. But yesterday when I came across mom and dad great blue heron with two babies on a nest that was easily within reach of The camera I did not have with me, I had to wonder! None of the pictures I shot with my phone got close enough to show how awesome it was. I was glad today when I saw even just this one guy. Sitting at the very tippy top of a small pine tree. C humored me and pulled over so I could  take some shots.
