Mono Monday

Thanks Beckett for hosting this week. My bird is a duck having a wonderful time bobbing around in the lake. I like the ripples on the water.

We didn’t rush away from home and took our time packing up for our short trip away. If you haven’t used things for awhile you forget how ( eg turning the fridge from battery to gas, how to put up the awning, etc etc. ) so we decided on two nights away to test everything. When we arrived at Lake Lyall, which is only an hour from home,  we had the choice of all the sites along the shore. There are a couple of vans up on the hill but none nearby. It is very peaceful. I’ve seen a couple walking their dog, a couple from the southern highlands and a person kayaking.
