Big Brother?

... and now for something completely different.

This is a shot of the big advertising video screen in one of the central public areas at Penrith Plaza in western Sydney. Here we see a promo for the 10 screen cinema complex. Whenever big pictures of faces come onto the panel, it gives me just a tiny shiver, reminding me of the "Big Brother" identity from George Orwell's "1984" and (more recently) the sinister big video screen depictions in Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner".
