Ablutions

The sub theme for this Mono Monday is birds, and since it's pretty much a motorcycling day Westonbirt Arboretum day this might be the one, shot straight out of the front door in the early morning sunshine. We have a significant flock of sparrows that live nearby, mostly it seems in the gutters of our houses. 

This fellow (or lass, I'm no expert) has just finished their morning ablutions, and has then had a good drink of the bathwater... they might need to think about that! The flick of the beak removes the remaining water drops, before they're back to the hedgerows, holly tree and , of course, the gutters.
