Wound up in Wexford

Wet daff

Despite the rather nice sunset last night, we woke to a cold and windy day, with showers predicted.  I did manage to to get one load of washing hung out and mostly dried before the showers arrived.  But the cold wind made that job distinctly unpleasant, and certainly put paid to any ideas we might have had about doing some work in the garden.

After our traditional Sunday breakfast of poached eggs, W did a little bit of preparation for seed planting in the polytunnel, but then retreated to the house to watch the rugby, and I did some crafting in the studio.  And once again we had a fire in the wood burner for the evening - we are getting through a lot of wood this winter.
