Pelican perch

At the end of another cloudy day with intermittent heavy rain I managed to get a quick walk down to the river in between showers. The birds were flying madly around, very noisily and all trying to get their roosts for the night sorted in all the big trees.
I think it was my lovely lady pelican from the 25th Feb blip that waas sitting up on the same post as before and her boyfriend (bigger beak) was on the other jetty post to her left. This is him with the stormy sky in the background. By this time the wind was getting very strong so I headed home.
