Feathered friends

Well it's definitely that time of year again.  I saw several of 'my' robins this morning but they're looking quite paired up now.  And just after lunch I watched two blue tits visiting (or revisiting) last year's nest site below my bedroom window, so I'm now excited at the prospect of another brood.  Oh I love this time of year!

On the whole though it's been a quiet day.  Simon put off the work that was to be done to shore up this rather delapidated hovel house.  That's now happening on Thursday.  And someone wants to sell me a mattress topper.  All I want is to get on a train and go to the seaside with my bucket and spade camera.
