Aboriginal 'Tent' Embassy

Today I went into central Canberra and did some sightseeing which included visiting Lake Burley Griffin, the National Gallery of Australia & the National Portrait Gallery. However I was really keen on seeing the old Aboriginal 'Tent' Embassy which is situated across the road from the old Parliament House. This area has been the scene of many famous political protests over a long period of time (especially around every January 26th). For more on the history behind the Aboriginal embassy click here.
