Sock puppets

Well enough to be up and dressed for the day, that felt good. Very easy day, had lovely morning cuddles with the boys and then made sock puppets with them (apologies to my sister who gave me these socks over 10 years ago, but they had a good end!).

Husband took the boys out this afternoon and I sat in front of the TV, very nice.

I was doing so well, about about 5, then had to go to bed after 4 mouthfuls of food - particularly upsetting as we had a very nice meal.

Eldest has been acting a little strange, super caring, wanting to kiss and cuddle me alot, and then being quite stroppy. We realised that he know people die of covid - not that we know I have it, test still not back), and he knows mummy has been quite ill. Poor mite, we had a chat this morning and I hope that helped.

Today I'm grateful for:
My mother - delivering a couple of rather posh (and tasty) evening meals and desserts to the door step.
Afternoon tv, and a new-found super easy watch
Kind friends (the two who know I'm unwell) and family who check-in to see how I'm doing

Today I'm not grateful for
The husbands work telling him that today is either holiday or unpaid leave as he can work flexi-time during the day (children need a bit more looking after than that
My part time work who still want me to give a 2 hour presentation tomorrow evening.
