Future planting

My near neighbour has planted a hedge and an orchard above a nicely tangled bank.  It may be spindly trees and plants now but I like to stand here and think about future hedgerows and fruit.   Late night call between a writer we’re working with and his mentor in New Zealand.  Very exciting project.  Two scripts have gone into commissioners so now we just sit and hope for a few weeks/months....
