Egg firmly on face...

... I painted six small pictures.
In a fit of enthusiasm I ordered a picture frame with mounting board to fit my pictures. This is all a new process for me. It was not without its faff; all six pictures were measured to the millimetre but, the online company could not have been more helpful.

Today the lovely frame arrived.

All was perfect, except for the colour of the mounting board, which was most disappointingly more peacock blue than pastel green (to my eye).
I wrote to the person who had been so helpful, wondering how we could rectify the error.
She replied quite swiftly (another tick for them),
‘Have you tried removing the protective blue covering from the glazing?’

Ah... (What patient folk they are).

Who knew?? (Pale green mount, red face).

I might attempt a little framing tomorrow
