Sustained

The sunshine and warmth were a little more sustained today, so I headed to the spot where I reliably find my first Comma butterflies of the year and found two.

I heard my first Chiff-chaff calling in the woods, the Lesser Celanadine is starting to cheer up the meadow and woodland floor, and the frogs were busy again (extra).

Whisper it, I think spring may be coming.

A year ago I went into self-isolation for the first time (of two), although we weren't quite in lockdown - indeed I was in work for a day a week later before the shutters came down properly. Definitely the start of my Covid year though.
