Rest afternoon this afternoon and with wall to wall sunshine, we were able to have an outdoor garden picnic with a friend.

Then later I headed out on the usual circuit for a walk.  This chap remained still long enough to have his portrait taken.

Down in the park I also saw a pair of grey wagtails diving around - but simply too fast to capture.
