Bird in Mono

I hope I can get this posted in time to participate in this week's mono Monday. Beckett's theme (thank you) is Bird in mono. I caught this curve-billed thrasher being a little sloppy while it was getting some water.  I did it in low key (with a yellow filter) in NIK.  The bird has a stunning yellow eye so I wanted to bring that out as much as possible.

I still have to post for Sunday.  Will get to that later. I have, ironically enough, my Camera Club Black and White SIG (special interest group) Zoom meeting in a few minutes so I have to fly out of here.
