'Out of Bounds' to you and me

I've been wanting to try out this technique for a few weeks now, but hadn't really found anything that I could sensibly use to exemplify it properly. Most of the examples I've seen in magazines etc. have tended to involve sports and balls in some capacity or other - neither of which really grab my interest. But today I found this and thought it was worth a shot (pardon the pun!)... so here is it, my 'out of bounds' gun. I have no idea what sort it is - someone out there may know - but it fires shells and was designed to kill or maim. That is the extent of my knowledge, I'm afraid.
