Al and Hannah
Betsy was at a sleepover this morning so took Al to see Wreck it Ralph. Oh dear. I do love a good kids film but this wasn't it.
Anyway, the day got a lot better when we got a visit from some much-missed friends who moved away last summer. Al was really good friends with Hannah for a few years during the Infant School, and has always stayed friendly with her. I've been very good friends with her mum, Rachel for a few years, and have missed her company very much since she left. She is American, her husband is Australian, her twin daughters are if not English, sound very like it, and now they live in Paris. They bought with them their crazy Poodle, Bubbles, who was born in Yorkshire but is the most Parisian looking dog I've ever seen. She is apparently is missing Bushey Park so came along to, and paid a visit to my neighbor who is a dog walker and sitter and has looked after Bubbles often, and quite fell in love with her (Corinne is so soft-hearted and gentle she falls in love with every cat and dog she sees I think!).
It was so lovely to see them all, and I was sad when they left. I know they are having a lovely adventure but I can't help selfishly wishing they weren't! Is that bad?
Betsy has had two sleepovers this weekend and it was so lovely to have her back again. S
