Steady Eddy

I have wild moments when I get home from work....(Just gone midnight) when I need to point a camera at something and seeing as I have the new Laowa 65mm x 2 macro lens I was thinking what can I get.....
Im itching to get an eye with it and as I have no models or willing test subjects I thought Id try with my own eye and thought using a mirror to focus using the rear screen might be a clever idea.....well it seems not I tried several times with a couple of powerful ring flash units sending ridiculous flashes of light into my eye...er slightly obvious but anyway that didn't get me any results, so I pointed it at my lovely Edison bulb I have in my lamp. I just marvel at the detail this fabulous little lens gets. I mean, these tiny filaments are on the move all the time but look at the detail!!
I cant help it I get excited over things like this
