Lens
This was just an experiment that turned out better than I expected. I held up a 50mm lens from my film camera with the aperture at its widest setting and moved it until I found the spot where it was in focus held away from the 50mm on my DSLR. Then framed it pointing at a lamp in my apartment. Shooting for proper exposure of the light left my hand and the lens in silhouette, which made a nice frame. The lens also has the effect of flipping the subject. I only realized after I took the photo that the white balance on my camera was still set for daylight, so my interior lights came out very warm. I liked the effect, so I left it uncorrected.
