18000 steps today. Started off with a 2 hour walk with S , through the golf course and up through Bramcote to the old part of chilwell. Forgot to take photos though! She gave me a delicious looking box of locally made brownies for my birthday. Yum! Got home and then left about 20 minutes to walk to the fire shop. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff - they are coming to survey the chimney etc next week. Did a bit of a detour on the way back through lady bay - there are a pair if metal herons each side of the road as you walk in. Apparently there used to be lots in the area before it was developed . Got home and drove to another bathroom showroom- liked some of their stuff but pricey. Collapsed on the sofa in the evening!
