Village laundry...
The "lavanderu de la fuente", the "laundry of the spring", in Ñao.
Most villages had a water course in proximity, and a laundry built by it close enough for the women (of course) to get to and from with their washing. Some had semi-cubicles, others, like this one, were free-for-alls.
Many villages still have their old laundries in place, though now that private and public water systems exist, they´re no longer in use.
This one is distinguished by not taking water from a river but by having a spring delivering it direct.
