A Trip Out

Yes, we went out! A trip other than just to work at the lodge or the studio.

It was work orientated in that we needed some gardening materials for the lodge but it was also a nice treat. It was quiet at the garden centre and we felt safe. We got what we needed then went out to the plants.

I had a nice voucher to spend from Mothers' Day so I very soon found things to buy. I may as well enjoy the colours in the garden right now! More of that in days to come.

Seeing the swan in the nearby pond was nice as we missed our canal holiday last week. We haven't seen a swan since September! What was even better was that, on the way down the motorway, we saw the other side of the pond and she has a mate.  A couple of years ago we thought the male had died.

We had taken a flask with us but, no need, there was take-away coffee!
