Camberley WI Bookclub

Today was market day so I walked down to the market in town. After a few purchases, including some curry from a very nice Thai lady, I returned home. After lunch I attended a Zoom Bookclub meeting to discuss Cider with Rosie by Laurie Lee. A number of us had read it at school and it was interesting to revisit it. Sadly this was many years ago and I couldn’t remember it! :-)
It’s certainly a story of another age. Sexist, racist and overly descriptive.
