Beaky.

Blue is the new beak colour for this Spring! No Heron this morning but 3 Mallards churning up the pond and loving it. They love posing, diving, preening and strutting their stuff! And actually the humble and very common Mallard is really rather beautiful. Don't know what the blue beak means though. Is it a young male - does anyone know? There are several with blue beaks down by the river near here.
We even saw a bit of sunshine this afternoon!
