Roadside memorial

The other day, we noticed this truck parked on the side of the road in town. I walked by today to have a look at it and read the many tributes to the man. We talked to a woman in a shop across the street and asked her if she knew who the man was. She did, she knew him and his parents, and she knew that he'd died a tragic death 5 days ago, leaving behind his wife and two teenagers. Apparently the truck was his. He was obviously a well loved man, known by many on the island. G didn't know him personally but knew who he was. So sad to see this and hear about the death.
I had no plans to go to town today, but G had to go so I decided to go along for a ride. I walked around a bit to take some photos while he did what he needed to do. It took longer than expected but it was a change in routine, always welcome these days.
Extra: I saw a lawn chair in the boat in the extra, a bit more comfortable than the bench, and had a chuckle.
