Lil’ Me Time

What a busy day... went to work early in preparation to leave at noon. Colby had a pre-op appointment with his surgeon at 2:30 in Portland. Grabbed a fast lunch at home and back on the road. A brief check-in with lots of questions, a COVID test and instructions to “prep the site” (he’ll have two showers in 12 hours to disinfect). Then drove the two hours home.

It was a GORGEOUS afternoon with temps in the 50’s. I decided to take 10 minutes all to myself. (ok, dog was with me) I sat, facing the sun, letting it soak into my skin. It’s been a long winter and we’re all lacking vitamin D.

Hoping for a good nights sleep, as tomorrow is another busy day.
