Another Beautiful Day!

I spent much of the day with my parents, being Wednesday. It was a lovely day so we met my mom's friend and went for our usual Wednesday afternoon walk around the campus of their retirement community. They're building a new neighborhood of homes and my mom's friend is fascinated with the building process...so we always go have a look at the construction. 

We played backgammon of course, and of course my mom beat me (again). But not by much!

When I got home I went for a stroll in the garden - this tulip was forced (and purchased in a pot) and is now growing in a container with other spring bulbs. The sun was shining on it and it just looked so sumptuous...so here it is!
