Ice at Fort River

 We paid our first visit this spring to the Fort River Wildlife Refuge--perhaps the earliest ever.   In any case I think this is the first time we had ever seen ice. I couldn't find any previous blips of this perspective, which displays the ice quite dramatically .The first platform overlook is in the distance at the upper left. Bird were almost non-existent--just a few robins, grackles, and of course crows. (And a blue jay--I just remembered.) It was good to really stretch our legs, on a clear, seasonable late winter day.
