Hallgrimskirkja

This is the tallest and the biggest church in Reykjavik and in Iceland and it certainly stands out. I bought a ticket to go up to the top of the tower and experience the wind that would strip the skin off you. It was extremely cold! In fact it was so cold that my mobile phone closed down when I was trying to take pictures with it as it was too cold to operate.

The wind today in Reykjavik is making it painful to go outside for any length of time with any exposed skin. Taking my gloves off to use the camera led to sore fingers.
