Default blip for the absent-minded
Today, the weather being mostly sunny, I thought it was time to tackle some major surgery in the garden. A conifer threatening the conservatory bites the dust. A beautiful viburnum plicatum 'Mariesii' too, which really saddens me, but it's far too big a shrub for a town garden and must go. Ideally it should be the sculptural highlight at the end of a lawn at some grand house, so that when it flowers in Spring it looks like a wedding cake.
For a blip, I was going to take before and after pictures. Unfortunately, I forgot to. So here is a nice crocus.
