Long-tailed tit

Yet another dull day with light rain forecast this afternoon. My new Fuji 70-300 lens arrived this morning. I ordered it the day it was announced in January and it will be in short supply for a while. Unusually, it will work with my 1.4 converter at the expense of one stop of light to f8 at the long end and possibly a slight loss of quality. I think it will be especially good for butterflies. Anyway, I decided to take it around the local park. In such poor light, I had to bump up the ISO but I'm quite pleased with the initial results, one of which is my blip for today.
