On my walk

Walked though the old cemetery on my walk today and I was rather touched to see that someone had left a bunch of daffodils on the tomb of Horatia Nelson Ward - the daughter of Horatio Nelson and Emma Hamilton (1801-1881). After a turbulent childhood she married the Revd. Philip Ward and had ten children ( two are buried in the tomb with her). After her husband’s death she moved to Pinner to be near her son Nelson and died on 6 March 1881.
