Highlee Lane

A few days off work and some half-decent weather gave me the chance to explore some new lanes and footpaths. 

I ventured down the steep Fiddle Lane at Barkisland which meant having to  run up the equally steep Ripponden Bank. I found a new footpath and a new ankle-deep bog along the 200m contour  which took me to Highlee Lane below Norland Moor where I stood to take this photo. The lane is shown in the extra. 

The trail shoes have been washed and are outside drying. The sun has struggled to make an appearance today.
