Lighthouse

It's been quite a busy day today. A good day was forecast so I got up to catch the dawn but it wasn't a dramatic affair! After breakfast we headed off to Carne beach, had a walk and a look in the rock pools. Having worked up a bit of an appetite we headed for the 'Quarter Deck' restaurant at The Nare Hotel. It was very good too. After lunch we drove to Caerhayes for a walk around the gardens and admired the Magnolias, Camellias and a few Azaleas etc. All very nice and just the stuff that Lady Marian enjoys but she reckons it'll be all the better in a couple of weeks time.

On our way back we went via St Anthony's head and visited this splendid lighthouse. So as I said, a busy day but it's the best day we've had with some lovely sunshine at times, albeit with a cold wind. I don't think the forecast is too good for tomorrow.
