Big skies

After a morning of jobs and working on Sunday's service I spent some time in the garden in the afternoon. However, it was ridiculously warm for the time of year and too much so for the jobs I was doing - not being acclimatised to temps in the high teens - so I came in for a short while before going out for a run.
I don't remember wearing shorts and t-shirt in mid-March but that's what I wore today, and to think that just a few days ago I had my warm top and gloves! 
I took the oute through the woods and then up the road to the farm tracks and open space with a return through the fields and by the ponds. Plenty of celandine, fading snowdrops and feral daffodils, also signs of buds unfurling on some of the bushes.
