Local Nature Reserve

As we approach the Vernal Equinox it is actually possible for the first time to go for a walk in the daylight before and after work.  This was first thing, while the fog was still around and I headed for the local nature reserve at the back of the estate.  This small pool is choked with reeds later in the year but at the moment you can clearly see the edges.

I'd always thought that autumn was my favourite season, but walking around today, seeing  all of the new life on tree branches, I'm not so sure.  I think it may be a dead heat with Spring.
