Happy camper

Martin planted the heathers he chose when we were plant shopping in a neglected flower bed next to his garage. When he turned his back for a moment the garden pixies claimed the area as a camp site. He sent me this photo while I was out with Karen at the Sovereign Harbour.

Karen and I met for a walk. Too grey for photos but it was lovely to spend time together regardless. We’d just sat down to sit to eat our lunch when a dodgy bloke asked us to hold his drink and loomed over us. He didn’t get the response he was hoping for and we moved away to make our point.

This afternoon was spent in my craft room. My new appliqué paper works well and my sewing skills are improving with each test piece.
