Toad on the Road.

We collected 24 toads this evening on the road here. Brings the total to almost 2700 collected in the last 12 evenings. All are put by the big pond at Durnford. Seven of us out tonight, led by Julie of the Wilts Toad Group. All are Common toads, no Natterjacks. Still many being squashed by cars, but thats life I suppose. Maybe another three or four evenings to go for the spawning run comes to an end.
