A snackbar for birds on a gate post.   Often S leaves some bird seed on walls, posts or tree trunks in the countryside especially when there is less of their natural food available and inevitably if we pass by later much of it has been taken. It has been a beautiful day and almost felt like summer and only the patches of snow on the distant Lammermuirs were a reminder that winter might not yet be left behind especially as three years ago today I blipped lying snow and two years ago on the 16th March.
